In the past week, Allred earned endorsements from grassroots organizations and community leaders from across the state – including Houston Mayor Emeritus Sylvester Turner, the Preston Hollow Democrats in Dallas, and the Greater Heights Democratic Club in Houston.

Also this week, the Allred campaign launched its first television and digital ads of the 2024 Senate election in Texas. The television ad, which starts this week in the Houston and Dallas TV markets, focuses on Allred’s unique Texas story, and his fight for Texans’ fundamental rights like the right to access an abortion.

Fighting for freedom

Last Friday, ahead of Monday’s anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Allred was joined by Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, former State Senator Wendy Davis, and congressional candidate Michelle Vallejo on the tragic impacts of Texas’ total abortion ban – and how, when elected to the Senate, Allred will fight to protect this fundamental right for Texas women.
