In McAllen, Allred Earns Endorsement of Michelle Vallejo in Race for U.S. Senate And Endorses Michelle Vallejo for U.S. Congress
McAllen, TX — Today, Congressman Colin Allred announced that he has earned the endorsement of TX-15 Democratic congressional candidate Michelle Vallejo for his campaign for U.S. Senate – and that he is endorsing Michelle Vallejo in her bid for U.S. Congress.
“As a small business owner and lifelong South Texan, Michelle Vallejo knows better than most just how badly the people of the Rio Grande Valley need real representation in Washington. That’s why I’m so honored to have her support in our race for Senate, and why I’m excited to endorse her candidacy for Congress,” said Congressman Allred. “Michelle knows that the towns and cities of the Valley are diverse, vibrant, tight-knit communities – and they deserve so much more than just serving as photo-ops for extremists like Ted Cruz or Monica De La Cruz. In the Senate and in Congress, Michelle and I are going to fight for South Texas and work everyday to lower costs, grow our economy and create jobs.”
